Tijdens het NUTS weekend is Militaria Bastogne geopend! Vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag staan wij voor u klaar op een, hiervoor speciaal ingerichte, locatie achter het 101st Airborne museum aan de Avenue de la Gare 11-13 in Bastogne. De verbouwing van onze nieuwe winkel duurt wat langer dan voorzien maar wij willen u als trouwe bezoeker niet teleurstellen, wij hopen u dan ook tijdens dit weekend te mogen bezoeken. Uiteraard mag u een bezoek aan het museum niet missen. Dus graag tot ziens in december.

Construction from our new shop takes longer than expected but we didn't want to disappoint you as a customer so we hope to welcome you during this weekend. Coming in 2009 'The Forgotten Battalion' is an independent fifty minute DVD documentary created and produced by Ian Gardner and John Sushams to accompany Ian's forthcoming book 'D-Day's Forgotten Battalion' (co-written with Roger Day and set for release by Osprey Publishing in April 09).
The film follows nine surviving members of the Third Battalion 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment from their trail blazing training in the USA to final victory in Europe and the capture of Hitler's Alpine retreat.

Deze non-profit organisatie, met zetel in de Verenigde Staten en diverse chapters in Europa, heeft als doel alle veteranen die sinds de Tweede Wereldoorlog ooit uit een C-47 transportvliegtuig zijn gesprongen, te groeperen. Door de jaren heen is de C-47 Club uitgegroeid tot een wijd vertakte vereniging, waarbij iedereen kan aansluiten.
